Mrs Pacman Game Online

Mrs Pacman was originally released in 1981 as a follow on game from Pac Man. Mrs Pacman went on to become one of the most popular arcade video games ever and is celebrating her 30th anniversary this year!

Pacman vs Mrs Pacman Game

Mrs Pacman and Pacman are almost identical. Both characters eat dots, avoid ghosts and eat the Energizer Pills in the corners to neutralize the ghosts so they can be eaten for bonus points. Again they both eat special bonuses for a boost in points and as you complete each level they get progressively harder.

Differences

There are a number of differences between Mrs Pacman and Pacman, to make the game more interesting.

1. Pacman is male whereas Mrs Pacman is supposed to be his wife, and has a little red bow on her head to show she is female.

2. Mrs Pacman has 4 different maze patterns, which appear in different colours. Pacman has 1 maze pattern and the colours do not change.

3. Whereas Pacman only have 1 tunnel located in the middle of the game, Mrs Pacman has 2 sets of tunnels and the locations differ between the 4 maze patterns.

4. Instead of the bonuses, such as fruit, being in the middle of the maze, in the Mrs Pacman game the fruit moves around the maze. This makes it harder to catch.

5. The Ghosts act differently and are faster than on Pacman. Also the orange ghost is no loner called Clyde but is now called Sue.

6. The music is completely different.

7. Overall, this free Mrs Pacman game is a lot harder because of the changing mazes, the increased speed of the ghosts, the shorter length of the Energizer Pills and the way the fruit bounces around the map.

Controls

To play Mrs Pacman online use the arrow keys to direct her around the the maze, avoiding the ghosts.

Scoring

Normal Dot – 10 points
Energizer pill – 50 points
Ghosts – 1st ghost 200, 2nd ghost 400, 3rd ghost 600, 4th ghost 800, 5th ghost 1000.
Fruit – various fruits will bounce around the game giving you various points.

A new life is rewarded every 10, 000 points.
